LMGT3 is the only category that includes ABS natively on the cars. For other classes (Hypercar, GTE, LMP2 etc.) you may use a driving assist.
The ABS system prevents locking up of your brakes when pressing the brake pedal "too hard". Generally speaking, you want to be just on the edge, but not into using the ABS system. It's there to support you but shouldn't be over-relied on.
As of the June 2025 update, ABS has had a refinement based on real-world feedback about how ABS maps are used in real life. Rather than being a level of 1 (almost no ABS interference) to 10 (lots of interference), teams and manufacturers often use this to dial out particular behaviours
ABS Mapping can be essential to fine tuning a particular car to your driving style. Below you’ll find a diagram of each setting and which values may best suit you.
You should bear in mind that changing your brake bias in conjunction to an ABS map could cause instability, so would advise finding a map that suits your needs then altering your brake bias.
