The MFD is displayed in the bottom left of the screen and gives you access to important information and controls your pitstops.
There are several pages to the MFD which can be navigated through by assigning a button to next and in the controller menu.
We'll step through each of the pages below to review what they mean
1) Relative
This page shows you the cars around you with the distance between you and them in seconds. Both your class and faster classes show here so it's always a good idea to keep an eye on it to avoid multiclass incidents.
2) Track information
Here you can find our the time of day in the sim along with weather and the predicted forecast. Additionally, it will tell you the "real road" (grip) level of the circuit and it's temperature.
You will also find information on the number of cut track points you've been given and any outstanding penalties to be served.
3) Timing
On this page you can compare your current and previous lap performance to your opponents in class or to yourself.
Pressing "up" or "down" will switches from "delta" to "split" and "sector" and "left"/"right" switches between comparing to your opponents or your optimal lap.
4) Tyres
This will display the available life of the tyres and compound you have on currently, the tyre pressure and brake temperature.
You can also see on this page the number of tyres left available in this event.
5) Fuel
Detailed information is available here on the fuel or virtual energy available.
Pressing "left"/"right" will switch between Fuel and Virtual Energy
Pressing "up"/"down" will give you information on the target requirements to extend a shift by the number of laps specified on the "save target" line along with comparisons to your estimated and last laps
Additionally here you can see information on your expected pit lap, how much virtual energy you should take (recommended by your engineer), the number of tyres you have available and the number of laps/stints required to make the end
6) Pit menu
Here you can change what you're looking your crew to do at your next stop. For example, what tyres you want in each corner (or choose all of them), the pressures, the amount of virtual energy and fuel ratio.
For driver swap multiplayer online events, you'll also be able to choose the driver for the next stop here.
You can quickly navigate to this page by assigning a "Request Pitstop" button.
