RealRoad refers to the track state technology used in Le Mans Ultimate. It records the amount of rubber on the surface or water if it is raining/has rained.
When the rubber builds up on the surface of the track, it builds up where the cars have been racing dynamically and when it rains that rubber is washed away.
In drying conditions, the track surface will again dynamically change and dry faster where cars are driving.
RealRoad Starting Grip
When configuring or joining a Race Weekend, Co-op event or online server you'll likely see these states:
- Green - No rubber, very slippery
- Light - A little bit of grip
- Medium - More rubber
- Heavy - Very grippy
- Saturated - As grippy as the track surface will get
You may also see in the event configuration "natural". This means it takes the natural evolution from the previous session.
RealRoad Wet
When configuring a session you may also set up the "RealRoad Wet". This allows you to configure how wet the circuit is before the session begins. It can be dry, damp, slightly wet, wet, very wet and extremely wet.
RealRoad Time Scale
You can configure the RealRoad effect to be faster than realistic, up to 15x or based on the %age of the session completed.
Additionally, if you wanted to have consistent levels of rubber for practice, setting this to "static" will ensure the grip levels remain consistent.
